We often say that we want to do something, but we also are a little bit confused around what to do. We are probably not that different from our parents, and we’re just naturally pretty good at making the best of it.

So what do we actually do as adults? Well, we get paid to clean the house, do your taxes and pay the bills, and generally keep the household running efficiently. To do any of these things is great, but it’s not always what we do. We are also required to use a certain amount of our free time to go to school, to get a job, to travel for professional reasons, to visit friends, and to socialize with our partners.
Well, a lot of us go to school, but the vast majority of professionals are either unemployed or underemployed. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel like I have any time to socialize with my friends at any point.
The truth is that we are not lazy. We are required to use a certain amount of our free time to go to school, to get a job, to travel for professional reasons, to visit friends, and to socialize with our partners. But when it comes to the last thing, we can also be lazy. We can be lazy with the money we save by not working in the first place.

I know I will get criticized for saying this, but I think it’s important to make a distinction between the laziness of choosing to not work and the laziness of choosing to work. The laziness of choosing to not work is when we choose to do something for no reason. It’s when we choose to work but it is so very stressful that we don’t do it because it’s very tedious that we choose to work.
Saving money for work is lazy, not lazy. The money we save by not working is the money we save for work. The money we save by working is the money we save for savings. We should choose to save more money for work and less money for savings because that will give us more money for work and less money for saving.
This is why I say that saving money for work is lazy. It takes effort and energy to save a dollar for work. We don’t do it because we don’t have to. We do it because we don’t have to. We do it because we can.
