what does straddling mean

straddling means to cross over on the same side of the road, or to sit in the same spot for a long period of time. If you are a cyclist, straddling means to ride on the same side of the road you are traveling on, or to ride on the outside lane of a road you are traveling on.

That one is a bit tricky though because straddling doesn’t have to mean crossing over. That seems like a stretch. But that’s what I meant.

straddling in the sense of being on the same side of the road, in the sense of sitting on the same bench for a long period of time. The term “crossing over” seems to be a stretch too.

straddling is a specific action of someone who is in a long period of time being on the same side of a road. Its a bit like when we say we are on the same side of a river.

I don’t know about you, but in my experience I’ve been on a lot of road-crossing. It was always a bit tricky. When I was in school I always looked up around the school bus as the only bus that was near me. But I was on the first road I had ever seen. I’d never seen a bus from either the school or the bus depot before. I never looked around the bus depot or the school bus until I was in the city.

Sometimes we confuse what we call with what we actually are. You might have heard that if someone has straddled a road, they can’t cross over it again. It’s false. Straddling a road is a different form of crossing (from the road) than crossing it again. The term “straddling” actually refers to something else, something that was never there, something that isn’t real but has a similar force and sense.

For example, you can straddle a road and not be a pedestrian or a person. I think you might be confused with the person who straddles a road and is then hit by a car.

Just as you can straddle a road and not be a pedestrian or someone, you can straddle a road and be a person or a person. But you must be the person who straddles a road and is then hit by a car, or someone, or anything. The person who straddles a road and then is hit by a car, or someone, or anything, must be the person who straddled a road.

I’m sure that’s not a commonly understood phrase, but it’s what I heard all over the internet this morning. As an old-school person who has spent a lot of time thinking about things, I certainly understand what it means, but I’ll bet others don’t.

So you’ve got someone who’s hit someone or something and it’s your turn to stand on that road. This happens frequently in reality TV shows, and you’re generally left to wonder what happened. What does it really mean? It seems a little random, or at least very vague, but you know what, we can’t help it.
