The majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.

The problem is when were on autopilot for so long that we forget were on autopilot. Because when were not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us. Whereas a person with self-awareness is able to exercise a little meta-cognition and say, “Hmm… every time my sister calls me and asks for money, I end up drinking a lot of vodkas.

The difference between people with and without self-awareness is that people with self-awareness are able to exercise a little meta-cognition and say, “Hmm… every time my sister calls me and asks for money, I end up drinking a lot of vodkas.” People with no self-awareness just hit the bottle and don’t look back.

That, like most things in life, is just a matter of perspective. For example, if you’re a writer, you know that a few years in, you’ll be making piles of money. Likewise, if you’re an actor, you know it will get harder and harder to get any acting work for the rest of your life.

This is why it can be so difficult to be self-aware. When we’re so accustomed to the way we think, we can no longer see the forest for the trees. Instead, we need to look back and see our patterns and see how they affect our lives.

In the next paragraph, we’ll tell you about this particular moment in which we both started acting like I wrote the first draft of the script we’re currently working on. What’s more, we both took that moment to be the most intimate moment of our lives. It’s not that we don’t like to think about it or think about it so much, it’s just that we’ve got to be conscious of it. We’re stuck in a time loop.

Time loops are a time-warping phenomenon, that is, they exist in a state where the time is not going on and is not going to go on. A time loop is more a function that a person has of how his brain works and how he perceives time. For example: If you are currently reading this sentence, it means that you are currently reading this, and it doesn’t mean that the sentence is now going to be finished.

A time loop is a state where time goes on and its not actually going on (it isnt continuing). The reason we are talking about a time loop is because it is a state that we can have on our minds. In our minds time goes on and ends. It’s not going on and it isnt going to go on, and this is because our minds are constantly working on our day to day tasks.
