This is the first time I ever tried to get my hands on a fresh, clean, and healthy tomato. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just not healthy enough.

Of course, when a tomato is too ripe and you have too much food on the table, you’ll take it to the farmer. But here’s the thing: if you go into the store first, you’re much more likely to find a good, ripe, fresh tomato than a dead one. This is because stores are usually just places that sell ripe tomatoes. Not just those that are in boxes or bags with a sign that says “No Refrigeration.
I actually have some good news for you. That tomato youre not gonna eat. Or that tomato you dont want to eat. Or that tomato you have to take home and eat. Or that tomato you wont ever buy. Or that tomato you will never eat again. Or that tomato you already ate. Or that tomato you dont care about. Or that tomato you ate a few minutes ago. Or that tomato you ate this morning. Or that tomato you ate last week.
The thing is, we’re not looking for that tomato that we ate last week because it’s probably gonna go bad. We’re looking for one that’s going to taste good, be tasty, and make us happy. That’s what makes it special.
