Theres a lot of other reasons to visit a players club, but I think the most important one is that it’s free. Unlike most clubs, theres no membership, no fees, and no dues to get in. So you can go right in, get a drink, and enjoy yourself. At least that’s the theory we’ve been told.
Theres a few people who have visited us before, but weve never had any trouble getting players at all. Theres a few reasons why you might not want to go: One, there are no tables, so you can’t sit at a table if you want to. Two, you have to be in a seating area to get a drink. Three, theres no way to get a drink if you’re not in a certain area.
This is definitely the way I prefer to play. There are no tables, you can sit wherever you want, and you can just sit and enjoy a drink. So it’s a very open format.
In the past, we have had a few problems getting players to come play. One guy who played a week after we closed, and we didnt get him to come back for a week. Another player we had problems with (he was playing with another player) and we didnt get him to play for a week after we closed, so we had to cancel his account.
