I’ve seen marina power yoga videos on YouTube and I haven’t been to a teacher training yet. I think that is because I have a hard time imagining myself in a room with a room full of people doing yoga. It seems too foreign to me. Maybe it’s because I’m still a beginner. I just have a hard time picturing myself doing yoga.
I think people who have never done yoga really feel that way because when they get into an environment like that, they imagine they’re going nowhere. But actually they’re making a lot of progress. And a lot of progress is not just doing yoga. Like, I’ve done a lot of cardio and strength training. But when you do yoga, you make a lot more progress than just practicing and getting stronger.
I think this is why so many of us look down on yoga and think it stifles your potential because it’s not like were doing any sort of cardio. I mean, we are, but only for 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week. So, not only do we build our body’s strength, we also build our mind’s strength. Yoga is a great way to strengthen our mind so we can think in new ways.
Well, at least as far as the power yoga part. But, for the most part, the more serious physical work (i.e. cardio) is just icing on the cake. The idea that we can train our brains in ways that we can’t train our muscles is a whole other story. A lot of the time the mind is the muscle. But, if we want our brains to be strong, we have to train our muscles. So we can train our minds too, in a way. So what’s the point of this? The answer is that it’s not a coincidence that the two are closely linked — in fact, the strength of our minds is directly correlated to the strength of our muscles.
So marin power yoga is the new trend in the fitness world. To get in shape, you have to work at it, right? Well, in marin power yoga, we have to train our muscles to be strong and flexible. No, seriously. We have to work out these muscles like there is no tomorrow. So we have to do the work that we need to do to be strong and flexible. Of course, this is all to help the body and mind feel stronger.
Like I said, it has this cool vibe to it. You know, I like to say that your body is the temple of the spirit and if you don’t exercise your body, you don’t have to work as hard. So, if I were to give the typical workout routine a little twist, I would say that it’s like working out with a drill, it has to be as strenuous as possible so that your body can do it.
The most important thing is that you have the ability to control your body.
The reason for this is because you can control your body just by doing it. You are in control of your body by taking up a position where you can take up the position you want to take up, for example, right in front of you. Now, I’d say that if you take up the position that you take up, and you want to take up your position, a lot of times you can get a lot of resistance from your body.
Not only can you control your body, but you can also control your mind. This is why if people tell you that yoga can do anything you want it can absolutely do that. If you have to have a certain position that you can do a certain thing, and you can, you can.
