Colt, while he may not remember who he once was, does remember that he took a life, so he’s still a bit conflicted about what’s best for our story.
We did see a glimpse of the ethereal forest when we were in the desert, but it was during a particularly intense moment when Colt and his friends were just about to attack it. When we return to the forest, it appears to still be a massive swath of woods.
