I see this all the time from my students at school, and from customers at the market. They’re always asking me for a recipe that they can make and that will make them happy. It’s a way of saying, “Hey, I’m making meals for you, and I’m happy to be doing this.

This is a very real thing. Even as the cooking revolution began, recipes were the most common things people would ask for during their meals. It’s not that we’ve all gone back to eating raw foods. It’s that people are happy to be making meals, and we just happen to be doing it with the computer.

And thats exactly what makes our work so special. Our customers are happy to have us make their meals, and they love bringing us recipes. We love being a part of their lives, and we want to provide them with something that they like so they can make it again and again, and again.

If you are a chef by trade, you probably have all of these “customer like” things in common. You want people to feel good about coming to your restaurant. You want the restaurant to be a pleasant environment. You want to have a happy and healthy employee and a healthy and happy customer. For us, it is hard to tell the difference between a good and bad customer, because the customer is always the same.
